PALCS VoiceThread Examples
Vocabulary
One way VoiceThread can be used is to review vocabulary and give students an opportunity to work with vocabulary before the lesson. In a 3rd grade vocabulary lesson, I will introduce and define the word and then prompt the students to answer a question relating to the word, use the word in a sentence or another action involving the word. Below are examples of vocabulary VoiceThreads for Language Arts and Science.

Math
In math, I have used VoiceThread to allow students to solve the problem of the day. They are able to use the writing tool if they would like to show their work, or simply share their answers in a comment.
